Minocqua Ski Weekend

Join us in Minocqua Wisconsin where we ski at Winter Park an outstanding ski destination. Winter Park has 100 km of groomed classical and skate-ski, snowshoe trails, and tubing hills.  Classical and skate ski lessons are available. They have a full-service ski shop with rentals available on the premises. But if Winter Park is not enough there are other ski locations nearby you can be directed to in the area. Trail passes are Adult Day Pass (19-64) $18.00 per day and $15.00 for seniors 65-up

Join us for an afternoon snowshoe after your drive up on Friday, 1/26. Ski or snowshoe on Saturday and Sunday. After checking out on Monday morning, 1/29, we'll plan another activity after checking out and before heading back to Chicago by evening. 

In Minocqua, we have reserved a block of 15 one-bedroom condos and 1 two-bedroom condo under the name NW Nordic Ski Club at “The Point Hotel and Suites” in Minocqua. The One Bedrooms are at $169 per night, with a living room with a sleeper sofa, and kitchen and one two-bedroom standard at $249 per night.  Must be reserved by Jan 2nd for this group price. The cancellation policy is you must cancel 72 hours before the arrival date at a cost of $25 dollars. There is a required one-night deposit which would be lost if canceling after 72 hours. After the block is filled the regular room rate is $189 per night, but with various discounts (like AARP) the price would be about the same.

Additional accommodations are available at “The Point Resort and Club”.  A totally separate entity from the Point Hotel and Suites.  Do not get confused by the subtle difference in their names.  Both locations are within walking distance of each other. They have one-bedroom condos at $165 per night and two-bedroom condos available for $265.  They do not have complimentary breakfast.
