Every year Northwest Nordic Ski Club organizes several trips, ranging from weekend jaunts to week long escapes to Winter  Wonderlands.  Below is a partial trip list for 2009-2010.  Contact the trip leaders for more details on the individual trips.  Also refer to the NNSC trip policy document located under the Club Info page for additional details.

Weekend and week-long trips:

Thurs., Dec. 31- Sun., Jan. 3    Minocqua, WI
Plenty of great ski trails in the area, including the state-of-the-art Minocqua Winter Park;  reasonable lodging and nice amenities at Americinn; contact Debbie Hoegemeyer,  debbieh333@earthlink.net 

Fri., Jan. 15- Mon., Jan. 18        Palmquist’s The Farm, Brantwood, WI
An annual NNSC tradition; lodging in beautiful log inns; home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner included; over 20 miles of trails on site or travel to other nearby ski areas; approximate cost $350; deposit required by Dec. 15; contact Joyce Palmquist, jdsaylor@mindspring.com 

Sat., Jan. 30 - Sun., Jan. 31    Delafield/South Kettle, WI
Only two hours from home; motel lodging Saturday night; ski Lapham Peak,  Nashotah County Park, and Scuppernong; contact Debbie Hoegemeyer;            debbieh333@earthlink.net 

Fri., Feb. 12 - Mon., Feb. 15    Lakewood/White Lake, WI
The old Bear Paw area, with great skiing at Gartzke Flowage, Lakewood trail system, etc.; motel lodging in Lakewood; contact Norma Witherbee,                    nwitherbee@ksgmac.com

Sat., Feb. 27- Wed., March 3    Marquette, MI
Several great ski trails in the Marquette/Munising area; motel lodging; contact Paula Matzek, plmatzek@aol.com 

Wed., March 3 - Mon., March  8    Stokely Creek Lodge, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Canada
Many km of beautiful ski trails right at the lodge and, for a separate fee, ski the unique     Wabos Loppet Ski Tour on March 7; downhill skiing also in the area; approximate  cost $115 per person per day includes meals and trail pass; “chalet” lodging with each unit sleeping 3-6 people; contact Scott Schaedel, schas@ameritech.net
