It's time to mark your calendars for this year's season ending banquet.  It will take place on Friday, April 9 at 7:00pm.  The location this year is the Mint Julep Bistro, 53 W Slade Street in Downtown Palatine (corner of Brockway and Slade).  The Mint Julep Bistro was seen in November on WTTW's Check Please!  To see the segment from Check Please! and to view their menu go to their website at www.mintjulepbistro .com.  Getting orders out at one time for a group as large as ours is a challenge for any restaurant.  The folks at Mint Julep want to help make it smooth.  As you look over the menu choose the entrees you want.  When you RSVP to me let me know what you want to order.  I will call the orders in to the restaurant before we get there and they will help get all the orders out together.  Appetizers and drinks can be ordered at the restaurant.  Please RSVP to me and place your order by April 7.  I can be reached at donwaus@yahoo. com or at home by phone at 847-358-8814.  Hope to see everyone there for a fine send-off to our season.
